Catch up..

Friday, October 21, 2011

So I realized today after being on vacation for the last week and a half that I have been completely slacking on my blog posts..I am so far behind! I have been so busy trying to catch up on everything along with taking a new photography workshop that I just dont have enough time in a day for it all! I apologize if your photos didnt make it on the blog! I will try my hardest to be caught up with my posts from now on!

On another note..I had a crazy busy fall family session week before I left & it was so much fun! The leaves & colors were perfect & I had a blast! This is little Liam who is about to be a year old soon , he was so adorable, Thanks again Rachl!

I will also try and get a few pics up shortly from our family vacation in Florida!
Have a great weeknd  :)

What to Expect:
Sessions last approx. 1 to 1 1/2 hours. The best time of day for photo sessions are early in the morning or in the early evening, just before sunset, for the best lighting.

Locations:
All photo sessions are shot on-location (with the exception of newborns & babies).  I have a list of many of my favorite areas to shoot at or you can choose your favorite park/location!

What to Wear:

For family sessions, pick one or two colors, and everyone coordinate. Check out my Pinterest board, "What to Wear-Family Photos" for lots of great ideas. (http://pinterest.com/monicacaughlin/what-to-wear-family-photos/.)

For Little ones, wearing layers is always a good way to add some fun to the photos.  Headbands, hats, tutus & pettiskirts are a great way to accessorize. Here is a link to my pinterest boards for some "What to Wear" ideas where you can see some fun examples.

I do have props such as chairs & blankets I bring at every session.

Senior Sessions

Several consultations via phone or email will be included to go over location options, clothing choices and the overall look & style you are seeking from the session.

Your session may last slightly longer than the 1 to 1 1/2 hours to allow for multiple clothing changes.

A little about Me..

Photo Courtesy of Heather Beach Photography
My name is Monica Caughlin. I am a full time wife & mommy to two beautiful little girls. Kaia, who is 5 years old,  is my little princess. Kaylie (aka "bugaboo"), who is 2 years old, is my sweet little angel.  I have a serious passion for photography all because of them!

I am an on-location, natural light photographer, specializing in children & families. I also love Senior Portrait season! My style is best described as real & candid. Some of my all time fav photos are the non-posed shots. I am proud to be a self-taught photographer. I have taken numerous classes, workshops, read tons of books, studied tutorials, and have been inspired by so many great photographers out there!  I LOVE what I do & I am so greatful for all my awesome clients!!
